We are currently searching for a Visual Designer to join the Creative Strategy team in our Seattle headquarters who will create compelling customer experiences that drive F5 brand awareness and effective demand generation.  

 

Position Summary 

 

As a Visual Designer on our team, you will bring a combination of sound fundamentals in graphic design and typography with a comprehensive knowledge of print and digital mediums. You will demonstrate savvy in delivering creative solutions that align with brand standards and design systems, and must be skilled in all aspects of design and tools of the trade. You will always exhibit a strong growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. Your success in this role will be measured by the impact of your outcomes on strengthening the brand, supporting marketing efforts, driving business results, and contributing to the company's overall growth. 

  

You will: 

  • Have a leadership mindset, exhibiting BeF5 and LeadF5 principles 

  • Have an owner mindset, work with agility and focus on positive customer outcomes, and create an inclusive and collaborative environment in which all people can thrive 

  • Create fresh, modern, and sophisticated design solutions in both digital and print, with a heavy emphasis on PowerPoint presentations  

  • Partner with creative director, art directors, and business partners to ensure creative aligns with F5's brand vision and guidelines and quality standards are maintained 

  • Understand and effectively apply brand, solutions, and product messaging in design work 

  • Deliver compelling creative presentations with an articulated POV backed by proven design rationale 

  • Effectively manage time to deliver completed design projects on schedule 

  • Prepare design files for final production and delivery 

  • Organize and manage file and asset storage 

  • Uphold F5's Business Code of Ethics and promptly report violations of the Code or other company policies 

  • Perform other related duties as assigned 

 

Your knowledge, skills, and abilities: 

  • Broad experience and high proficiency in all areas of design 

  • Expert user of Adobe creative software—InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop in particular (Adobe Express is a plus) 

  • Customer empathy and focus, applying design thinking principles, and optimizing customer experiences and conversion with data-driven design decisions 

  • Ownership and accountability for work—with a dedication to both the details and the big picture—and a focus on the best outcomes 

  • Demonstrated awareness of emerging technology, media, and digital platforms 

  • Curiosity and willingness to explore, ideate, and experiment 

  • Strong business communications skills and the ability to comfortably and professionally interact at all levels of the organization 

  • Ability to make thoughtful decisions quickly, simplifying creative solutions wherever possible 

  • Strong growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement 

  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced marketing environment 

  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to organize and deliver projects on time with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail 

  • Ability to keep all projects on track and communicate project status with manager and team 

  • Initiative to seize opportunities and stretch abilities with minimal direction 

  • Experience with B2B in the tech industry is preferred 

 

You have: 

  • Track record of success driving effective creative solutions for a brand or product with meaningful results in the market 

  • 3+ years of relevant design experience 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred 

  • A digital portfolio demonstrating innovative and compelling creative work and broad experience in advertising, brand, product marketing, and integrated multi-channel campaigns

The annual base pay for this position is: $70,917.00 - $106,375.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5's differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
