Resourcive: Infrastructure Practice Lead (Finance)

Position Overview

The Infrastructure Practice Lead is a client-facing consulting role responsible for leading and executing infrastructure-related engagements. This position focuses on advising clients on colocation, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), cloud solutions, and hybrid deployments. The ideal candidate will be adept at engaging CIOs and their IT leadership teams to guide them through Resourcive's proven process, ensuring optimal technical and financial outcomes.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, deep technical knowledge of infrastructure deployment models, the ability to collaborate effectively with both clients and internal team members, and the capability to work closely with suppliers to understand their offerings and how they fit client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Client Advisory & Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their infrastructure needs, business objectives, and technical challenges.
  • Lead clients through Resourcive's established process, ensuring consistent and high-quality execution for infrastructure engagements.
  • Conduct technical and financial analyses of potential solutions, providing actionable recommendations tailored to client goals.
  • Advise clients on colocation, IaaS, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure strategies, helping them make informed decisions.
  • Facilitate meetings with client stakeholders, including CIOs, IT teams, and executive leadership, to present findings, solution options, and implementation plans.

Collaboration & Internal Coordination
  • Work closely with internal teams including technology advisors, sourcing advisors, and implementation managers to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
  • Maintain open communication channels with Resourcive's Business Development and Engagement Teams to support ongoing client relationships.

Supplier Collaboration & Market Understanding
  • Build strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors to develop a deep understanding of their solutions, capabilities, and differentiators.
  • Evaluate and document supplier offerings to determine where they best align with client infrastructure needs and objectives.
  • Stay informed on market trends, new technologies, and vendor roadmaps to provide clients with relevant and up-to-date recommendations.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and suppliers to ensure alignment during solution evaluation and implementation phases.

Execution & Solution Delivery
  • Run infrastructure engagements from discovery through solution selection and implementation oversight.
  • Ensure that all client deliverables meet Resourcive's standards for quality, timeliness, and relevance.
  • Support clients through vendor negotiations and solution deployment, ensuring successful project outcomes.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years in infrastructure consulting, IT services, or enterprise technology advisory roles.
  • Demonstrated experience working with CIOs and senior IT leadership on infrastructure-related initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead client engagements focused on colocation, cloud, IaaS, and hybrid deployment strategies.
  • Strong background in vendor selection, financial analysis, and solution implementation.
  • Experience in supporting mid-market and enterprise organizations across various industries is a plus.

Skills:
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills to perform comprehensive cost-benefit analyses and infrastructure assessments.
  • Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the capability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors.
  • Adept at problem-solving, with a proactive approach to addressing client challenges.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both clients and suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:30* depending on travel. Team operates generally on Eastern Time.

Compensation

  • Base Salary- $110-$140K based on experience
  • Variable compensation program with On Target Earnings (OTE) ~200% of base salary, Total Comp Range $200-250K (uncapped)
